Im Test

Wir haben den direkten Vergleich zu dem Vorgänger, den wir auch getestet haben. Hier geht es zu unserem Testbericht des V2. Der V3 ist noch kompakter und agiler geworden. Durch das schmalere Heck und die schmalere Nase ist das Starten bei gleicher Literzahl etwas wackeliger (hier im Test das 74 Ltr. Board). Daran habe ich mich nach ein paar Starts gewöhnt. Man sitzt/kniet etwas anders auf auf dem Board. Das V3 hat dafür durch die neue Volumen Verteilung enorm an Agilität gewonnen und alle Attribute eines kompakten Wingfoilboards perfektioniert. Das AK Durable Compact V3 empfehlen wir für Fortgeschrittene Wingfoiler/innen. Es läßt sich schwieriger Starten, als “nicht-extrem-kompakte-Boards” Dafür bietet es eine sehr hohe Drehfreudigkeit beim Freestylen und Manöver zelebrieren. Wer ein Board bevorzugt, das leicht zu Starten ist, dem empfehlen wir das AK Phaser, das wir Euch hier vorstellen. Ambitionierte Winger/innen kommen mit dem Compact voll auf ihre Kosten.

Test

We have a direct comparison with its predecessor, which we also tested. Click here for our test report on the V2. The V3 has become even more compact and agile. Due to the narrower tail and the narrower nose, starting is a little more wobbly with the same number of liters (here in the test the 74 liter board). I got used to this after a few starts. You sit/kneel a little differently on the board. On the other hand, the V3 has become much more agile thanks to the new volume distribution and has perfected all the attributes of a compact wingfoil board. We recommend the AK Durable Compact V3 for advanced wingfoilers. It is more difficult to launch than “non-extreme compact boards”, but it offers a very high turning ability when freestyling and celebrating maneuvers. If you prefer a board that is easy to launch, we recommend the AK Phaser, which we present to you here. Ambitious wingers will get their money’s worth with the Compact.
